Default Porsche Turbo Cup Decals

I've been working on a project to help out Peder (PF) in the restoration of his Turbo Cup Car. He was looking for the Turbo Cup Door and bonnet decals. I was planning to use a guy who makes them from laid up laser cut vinyl but was struggling with getting the right colour red and also knew that the originals were printed onto vinyl rather than being laid up, so I took the plunge and have had the original artwork replicated and matched up the colours of references of the factory original decals. I'm printing up 9 for Peder and a fellow Cup Car owner in Sweden but thought I'd put it out there in case there was anyone else who was interested. They work out at $75USD each plus shipping and PayPal fees.

Please pm me if interested and I will add to the order.

These will be printed on top quality auto vinyl and will have a UV laminate which should give them a 7 year + life expectancy if they live outside ... I'm thinking most will have a gentler life than that

I am also in the process of reproducing the decals that went on the interior of the rear window of the cup cars. These will work out at approx $35USD ... final price still to be confirmed. Faded original reference below.

NOS Door and Bonnet Decal. Factory Original References.

That decal was placed just above the rear wing in the middle of the hatch and also in the middle of the hatch but up close to the upper edge. If you watch closely you can see the wing in the pic Paul posted from my -86 Cup car. My -89 that I have been renovating the last few years also had these decals when new and will soon get them again thanks to Paul.

I can only say good things about Paul and his work. Really one of the most thorough men I know. These replica decals will look just like the NLA originals. IMO a must for anyone with a -87 to -89 Cup car or someone who wants to build a true replica Cup car.

The dims of the rear window decal are: Total dims 280mm x 95mm (272 x 90 printed). The main door decals are 425mm diameter (409mm printed). For those of you with OCD please check out the translucency of the red used in the printing of the 'Cup' portion of the txt where it crosses the tyres of the lead car. We have matched this exactly

Default Get them while you can!

Just wanted to put som light on these Turbo Cup door/hood decals that Paul has put in an amazing amount of work into. The attention to detail is second to none and are exact replicas of the factory version. If you have a Cup car without them or are making a replica these are a must!

Couple of not so good pics will follow of them on my finished car.
BIG Thanks Paul!

Pic above is of my car from Hockenheim in - 89 just to show factory decal. (Yes really bad quality Pic, Sorry)

Thanks Voight!

When I set out to do the restoration of this car I knew it would be an amazing amount of work. One of the hardest parts was to locate all the missing Cup parts that had been taken off the car at some point of its 20 year old racing career.
Took me 5 years but now it is 100% as it was on the starting line at nurburgring in april 1989.

With a rebuild like this you are very Lucky to meet poeple like Paul here that can help with the last and oh so important details

Bought them from a friend that was to use them on a 993TT. I had to get new outer rims for them.
Rears are 8" plus 2" 0288107, tires 295
Fronts are 8" plus 1,5" 0288108, tires 265
I am using these for another car.
