A perspective on 911 size evolution ;-)
I got a contractor's special this week; same tire received one screw, one nail, one sliver of sharp metal and a staple! And it was *almost* patchable but the smallest injury (the nail) was on the shoulder, so no dice. I took the wheel off to the shop to get a new tire, and was shocked at how big those suckers look when dismounted..
Here's a perspective next to my 1972 911. It's ridiculous !!! If I ran my 991 on 72 wheels and tires I could probably spin them in 7th gear ;-) ( I know I should have put it next to the actual tire but by the time I thought about it, it was mounted, and that sucker is heavy so I'm not doing it again ;-)

The 911T almost looks like one of those kids mini cars next to the other one. I bet its just as fun to drive though!

Yeah, that shot's perspective is deceiving.... I've owned a 356 and while it's not as small a car as you'd think (tons of headrooom), it's nowhere near a 991.
Look at the 911 by comparison (and that was bigger than a 356)

Hey, at least it's not gotten any taller!
(You have to shoot them from far away with a long lens to not get the kind of distortion the other photos in this thread have shown)

I'm always in aw when I remove the wheels to see how meaty 305's are.
