Would be kind of interesting to try to use one with a helmet on. Don't think it would be effective.

So..... NO. The radio doesn't come with a hand mic.

I do have a couple of Mic's that I use with my portables when full ear muffs are not needed. My girlfriend and I use them when we convoy home from the track. Very handy. The Motorola Windport model is inexpensive and works well.

I told my mechanic I wanted to mount the mic - I am in the process of building a SPC. He has conveniently forgotten to install it and when I went to pick up a bunch of miscellaneous parts he gave the mic back to me. I said we need to mount this but he just looked at me like I was crazy. So, I will bring the mic to my first event and if anyone wants it just stop by - I will be at Mid-O.
