This was about 20 minutes after I left the dealership outside of Evansville IN heading east on I64. I was so excited about getting into my first 911 that I failed to look at the gas gauge until I was already on the Interstate and they forgot to put gas in it after I took it on a test drive! This is the spot where I ran out of gas on the ramp about half a mile from the gas station right smack in front of a WRONG WAY sign! They felt awful when I called them to let them know what had happened. I told them that this just added a good pic and story to one of the best days of my life!
May have done the same thing when the 991 arrived from the USA. Range remaining said 30 Km and I was about 0.3km from the gas station when she conked out. I panicked thinking my car had broken, but the odd thing was, once I put gas in, it worked fine. I think there is a correlation.
I got to slowly move past a Guard's Red in traffic last Friday. It was certainly a shining beauty in the bright Texas sun... it made every car around it look so plain. You certainly have a wonderful-looking car and country to drive it in!
