Trust me guys, I've seen that car in person. I almost bought it because I really fell in love with it. That particular type of green color Mclaren has is just plain awesome. It is full of metallic flakes. A really vivid color. Doesn't really show it on the pics, but oh my god it's drop dead gorgeous. With those matching calipers, and those acres of alcantara with matching green contrast stitch. It makes our Porsches look bland, uncoordinated, incomplete, ... Step up Porsche !
And now that I'm on a roll. For those color that we have to pay through our noses for like Carmine, Miami, Chalk, Lava. That doesn't cut it ! At least have the decency to offer gorgeous metallic and/or pearlescent colors for that money !

I have also seen that particular car in the flesh and I agree that it sure does POP! The matching green calipers look great although they were not done by McLaren but were repainted by the dealer to match.
When you look at the colour palette that McLaren offers it really does put Porsche to shame. Why Porsche continue to offer the same boring colours on their GT cars as they do on a regular Macan or a Panamera is beyond me. They are missing out on a opportunity to make their GT cars really standout. And I don't accept the lazy excuse that they share the same production line as the regular 911 models so are restricted to a limited boring palette. If the paint robots can change colours from red to yellow to blue, etc car by car, how hard is it to add some more interesting colours.

@Chris3936 : So right. Porsche has to stop hiding interesting colors behind the almost always closed PTS door ! Fed up with that crap !

I am surprised the Performante is already on showroom floors. I thought it was just introduced.
