How about a drive to Leipzig for a Porsche Factory Tour to see Cayennes, Panamera, and Macans being built? Just recently opened to public tours. Very cool!

Did you get the wheels from the BBS warehouse during your drive?

Great drive today with the PCA out to Fredericksburg, TX to see the blue bonnets and wild flowers. We ended up with 60+ cars. And we didn't take any pics. of the flowers lol...

Typical American. Goes and gets Krispy Kremes..in Germany. Hopefully you picked up a six of Bud at the Exchange too.

We used to drive three hours to RAF Lakenheath for Taco Bell :-)

I checked my dashcam to see if any of the wildflower images showed up well. Here's the prettiest shot I could find

Actually this is the first road drive of my 991.2 TTS Cab. I took possession back in late Nov of last year. I just had it trailered out to my hanger and parked it until nicer weather came our way. Which was this week. The picture is of the the 911 coming out and my Volvo V60 going back into the hanger. I just did a short drive, but the temp was 60F so it was a top-down drive. Hope to do some longer drives in the next few days.

I see launch controls and 1/4 mile runs down the runway in your life!

Nice picture, by the way.

Any impressions of the TTS Cab after your first drive?

I guess I'm still a wee-bit old school but I drove it very carefully. The roads are dry but lots of loose gravel and sand left over from the winter. The road noise is high, very noticeable when going over the left over winter sand, you can really hear the debris hitting the wheel well liners. Much more so than the V60 I drove on the exact same roads on the way out to the hanger. The carbon brakes were a bit 'grabby' but that could be due to the fact they had a wopping total of 23 Km when I started out. I just used a very soft touch at the start of a braking cycle. The exhaust note is indeed muted, but I am still going to give the stock system a try for a while. The Escort Radar/Laser system scared the bejesus out of me. It went off once, I think a false alarm, it was like a friggen ships foghorn. I gotta set the volume a bit lower, so RTFM. Today is another nice day, I think I will go out and play a bit in Sports and Sports+. Some interesting data on the mutil-function display, front/rear torque split and overall torque values are cool.

So my 3 car garage at home is now 100% Porsche. The 911 TTS, The 981 Box-S and the Cayenne-S. It looks cool, I gotta clean the floor and get some pics.

SCTanton, Very nice! Glad my car doesn't have to hibernate in So. Cal. Beautiful car and enjoy the season of driving👍.

This was about 20 minutes after I left the dealership outside of Evansville IN heading east on I64. I was so excited about getting into my first 911 that I failed to look at the gas gauge until I was already on the Interstate and they forgot to put gas in it after I took it on a test drive! This is the spot where I ran out of gas on the ramp about half a mile from the gas station right smack in front of a WRONG WAY sign! They felt awful when I called them to let them know what had happened. I told them that this just added a good pic and story to one of the best days of my life!
