You still want the CC to vent to the Oil Tank as there is quite a bit of vapor that comes from the CC that needs to condense in the tank, If you went to the can I think you would be draining it quite alot.

Of course you could drain the catch can back to the CC, via a 1 way valve (to prevent blow back), most turbo cars do this.

Based on the photo of Juha's engine bay, the CC vent hose looks like it still goes to the Oil Tank and the oil tank vent goes to the Catch Can.

Steven's right, my crankcase breather hose still goes to the sump. Only the breather hoses from the sump go to the catch can.

Juha, which Jenvey's did you go with? Obviously they're the three stud units, but did you go with the taper or non-taper kit?

And did you have to bore the intake manifolds or were they already pretty close to the 993 intake port diameter?

This is the tapered one. They bolted right on.
Attached is a list of what I bought from Jenvey, pretty much a copy of Trophys kit.

In addition I bought the RSR throttle linkage, Porsche part # 964.110.021.82.R

+ you need a breather catch can for the oil tank breathers and some vacuum hoses + a small vacuum tank/manifold.

Season is almost here...

I rebuilt a set of 997 CUP wheels for this car. I bought 3.5" wide rear outers (1" wider than stock) and swapped the inners rear to front.
Now the wheels are 9.5x18" and 11.5x18" (stock are 9 and 11).
I'm also pushing the front suspension out. Don't really know why I didn't do it earlier.
Now the wheels should fill the fenders out nicely.

This is just the "spare" set...wait till you see the set that is been refurbished by a professional shop.

The front outer lips are being polished, rears are new and the centers blasted and coated with satin gold like this:

Have you driven the car on the road yet with the ITB's?

No not yet, there was snow on the ground still 2 days ago. Hoping to take her out in the next two weeks. I hope I get to drive a bit before it's going to Germany end of the month.

A little pre-season service going on. We're widening the front track by moving the entire suspension out 30mm per side.
The rear track is now about 100mm wider than previously and front track 60mm. Add a little weight loss, re-geared box and abt. 100hp and (useable) 1000rpm more should make for a nice difference.

Plan is to drive the car to Germany during the easter holidays. i.e. in two weeks.
