Any input on color?
Yup, unless I change my mind (or PTS is available), I'll be doing chalk also.

I intend to bring some chalk into the interior too.

It's just like all the 991 carreras and the 991.1 GT3. Full leather includes the proximal half of the dashboard, which is closest to you. There is an option, just like the .1 GT3 to get the extended dash in leather trim, which is the half of dash closest to the window. I have it on my .1 GT3 and will order it again on my .2 GT3.

PDLS means the lights will rotate as you go around corners. This was standard on .1 GT3s, but now it's an option just like regular .2 Carrerras.
If you don't choose the PDLS, I believe the headlight washer wart goes away, which is nice.

Haven't been up on the colors. Chalk used already on any other models? It's a new color right? Not a PTS archive color?

Any pics of it on real cars?

The best news of all is from the drivetribe video (posted on page one of this thread)

Quote from AP at 11:05

" The GT3 has a motorsport engine now", and went on to say how it's based on the 991 GT3 R engine.

Hallelujah. This is what we want in a GT car, a proper motorsport engine!!!! and it still revs to 9000K!!!!!!

I think it only appeared on the new Panamera so far.

I am close to completely sure that Kreide/Chalk has not appeared in Porsche's history or as PTS.

I was #1 at my dealer in Germany and was called to place my order today but now they're giving me the first manual instead. My salesman who sells ~250 Porsches a year wasn't even aware manual was being offered and said no one had asked him about it yet. Unfortunately he said "no" to PTS.

A "plush" order for autobahn Sunday cruising and date night. If it ever goes on the track it will be for a single lap on the Nordschleife.

White
Black wheels
Manual transmission
Clubsport package
918 seats (but may switch for the foldable ones)
Full-leather
LED headlights Black
Rear camera
Windshield tint in gray
Painted headlight washers
90l fuel tank
Bose (unsure about this if it adds ugly speaker grills in the door)
Carbon package and carbon door sill
steering wheel with 12-hour mark in Red
red seatbelts

Race on Sunday, sell on Monday. Porsche finally brought it back to center where the engine they use in their race cars are featured in their street cars which is one of the primary reasons why the Mezger units were so celebrated.

IMHO, this renders the .1 the bastard child gen made worse with its well documented reliability concerns. Let's hope Andreas/team did their homework this time. Then all is well, again.

One can specify body color washer nipples without the Xenon PDLS option, and the configurator changes the headlight bucket to black when selecting the option.
Along with it showing as standard equipment, I'm assuming the option is just for the change from silver color.
