Hi Alain,

OK, I will ask right now.

If I'm correct, the missing activities are:
- Visit of the cellars, bus included
- Visit of the car museum of Reims
- Visit of the FOSSIER biscuit factory.

Right?

Code:
1) Euro Participation, compulsory welcome package

a) The fee covers the program of the event in many languages, the goodies (one shirt, lottery ticket, and others suprises...), the security guard of the cars that will stay near the village hall that will be the base camp (from 17:00 to 07:00 every day if I'm correct)

b) This is for one car, regardless of how many people are within

2) Precise schedule

b) In my mind, the best moments to meet and discuss will be the end of the Friday afternoon, after the activities and the, of course, the end of the Saturday, with the gala diner.
For driving, the Saturday's rally will be nice. We will be in two groups, driving the same tour, but in opposite directions. Everybody will be reunited for the picnic.
Is there not like a morning or afternoon foreseen to simply stand around, look at all the cars, talk, and maybe sell or exchange some parts?
I am unsure whether I could partake in the entire weekend, but I would be interested in such a shorter meeting.
Also the compulsory welcome package would be fairly expensive if it's just to attend a morning or something.

You don't have to come to the complete event. You can decide to come to just one day, for example.
In fact, that is the reason why we have to go so deeply in details into the registration form.

But, the welcome package is compulsory if you would like to be a participant of the event. Otherwise, you will be just a spectator, and you will miss a big part of the fun.

Please remember that this is not just a question of money, but also that we have to declare the event to the local authorities and that participants must be easily identifiable.

Hi Alain,

Visit of the cellars, bus included
From 11:00 to 15:30, by group of 50 people. If we are less than 400, then the last group(s) will be canceled.

Here are some updates:
- The visit of the FOSSIER biscuit factory is canceled. Indeed, it is closed during this big week-end.
- It is confirmed that we will have a car from the Porsche Museum on display

Jacky Ickx ? Excerpt from link below: In 1987, before the official launch of the 928 Club Sport model, five prototypes were built for Porsche's factory drivers: Derek Bell, Jochen Mass, Hans Stuck, Bob Wollek and Jacky Ickx. Hans Stuck's car is still in existence today and forms part of a Porsche collection in the Netherlands, while Jochen Mass's is believed to be in Scandinavia, according to the latest information. https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/23596/lot/27/

I don't think this is well known but the 928 was his favorite Porsche road car.
He even told me that he has kept his last factory 928 GTS as long as possible

How many from the USA are going for this event? Are any of you planning on the entire event or just a day or two?

I'm shuffling some things around as I'll be in London, Paris & Frankfurt and am trying to schedule this as a drive to event from Germany for the weekend.

Curious about meeting up....

Here is an illustration of the watch that be the prize of the lottery.

http://www.brm-manufacture.com/montre/declinaison/82

There is one ticket included into the welcome package and it is possible to buy others.

Please note that the watch to win will be personalized. Its back will have the logo of the Euro 928 engraved. And it will remain the only one like this.

The drawing lots will be during the Saturday dinner but in the case if the winner would not be present, the club will send the watch.
