I gave up on trying to pair the RF brake controller. Tried unsuccessfully on 4 cars without any luck. I don't just have cars sitting around with a 7-way tow rig. I am sure the unit is good, but mine is going back to the vendor. I should already come paired. Also, it should not list a car as compatible such as an F15 X5 if you can't pair with that car.

I will go with the E70 BMW solution and just plug it in without an paring. Thanks lmnsblu355!

Update. I think this was the one I bought. Finally installed this on my 2006 CTTS. took two tries to pair. Works perfectly.
