WTB - 88' Turbo S 944 or 89' Turbo 944 in as original condition as possible with low miles for my collection. Any color, the more original the better - If you have one or are aware of one, please contact me. I am a serious buyer and and I am more concerned with a beautiful car than price.
Thanks in advance. My cell is 719-332-6968.

Thanks !
Yes - Technically, the 944 Turbo S was only sold in 1988. But for 1989, Porsche made all the Turbo S options standard on the Turbo.

To be more precise just the first 1000 produced in 88 were true Turbo S in the silver rose body and plaid interior that the factory intended for this model. Factory only intended to produce 1000 Turbo S, numbers then went up due to sales and extended to MY89 but none past the original 1000 were produced in the originally spec'd silver rose. If I was a collector the silver rose is what I'd be wanting in my collection.

In my opinion the S cars are any of the 1635 produced in 88. If the sticker has the S option package the you have an S car. The Silver Rose cars may be the most collectible but there were definitely more S cars made.

"The 944 Turbo S is subtle, yet the knolwedgable enthusiast can readily identify it by its exclusive metallic paint and noticed, disc wheels. Headlight washers, protective side mouldings and a rear window wiper are standard."

Thanks for the input - I agree -
I would prefer the Silver Rose but at this point, so many of these cars were turned into track cars and generally not loved that I am open to any low mileage example in original condition.
Hopefully, my patience will be rewarded. Fortunately, I only need to find one.
I would appreciate you all to be on the lookout and "send up a flare" to alert me if you come across one.
Cheers
