The mountains don't look as impressive as some from a distance, but they are very good close-up. No technical skill is required to climb them, but it ain't easy.

My wife just reminded me that our main lodging venue, the Pine Tree Motel, is dog-friendly. In fact, it's only available because the town's Woof Stock event was moved to another weekend. The camping venue - our grounds - is also dog-friendly, aside from our cats and probably a few porcupines.
Of more general interest (but not much): Last time I was at the Saratoga Auto Museum, the exhibit theme was Sam Posey. One of his interests was designing fantastical vehicles. This one suits the area and the cold weather we're having:
