We received pre-opening tickets to the D.C. auto show this morning compliments of the Potamac PCA. The show doesn't compare to Geneva by any means, but there was still a couple of highlights. Porsche had a very small and unimpressive presence, but at least they were there. One car below you will NEVER find at Geneva!
Porsche is always a poor showing at most of the US auto shows, aside from LA, NY and Detroit (ironically). D.C., Houston and Philly have always been fulfilled by local dealers. Who bring few cars and keep them locked. Shame.
Been to DC Auto show last two years. Have three free tickets this year but unsure if Im going yet. Porsche has never been there so this is their first time ive seen.
Missed the auto show but got to sit in the new Panamera (courtesy of PCNA) today at a local premiere. It was at a watch party for the 24 Hours of Daytona.

They stopped coming to the DC Autoshow years ago and instead have been hosting private events nearby (hosted by local Porsche dealers). I remember actually being able to sit in a 911 at the DC Autoshow a while back, maybe 10 years or more ago.
This was the first time Porsche has been back at the DC Autoshow in forever.

Same at the San Francisco auto show - just a few P-cars, and always locked!
