For Sale: 1 intake & 1 exhaust cam. Good lobes & journals but both sprockets are severely damaged, making them a good candidate for repair (getting one of the US companies to re-store with new sprockets... this is performed by 944online, Web Cams or RSBarns/Michael Mount and possibly others).

Additionally, the prospect of increasing reliability and just overall coolness by using 2 exhaust camshafts and 2 externally belt driven gears is so very tempting... so very delicious! This conversion is available from Chris White.

However you want to play it, these 1987 944 "S" 16 valve camshafts will be sold for $150 US includes shipping anywhere in North America.

Sounds like a very good price, you can get them both rebuilt for around $800 or so. I believe 1 cam shaft new is well north of 1k for just one!
