Reason: Stuff
depending on the gears he got , most likely 3:73 , prolly 13-14 city and 16-18 highway. delete the bs off them and they'll get 17 city and 20 highway .

For towing I have an F450/Lariat with the H&S after-treatment delete system (off-road only) and multiple mode on power. I get around 15 city and 17 HWY. The 6.7L Powerstroke are very quite and reliable. Great trucks.
This is a 3:73 version not a 3:55. Without a load, on level highway the truck will produce 20-22 MPG depending on ambient temperatures.
While pulling my race car trailer it was not uncommon to see 14-15 MPG at 70-75...with 35 gallons it has some range. Of course others may see different results...but that's what mine does.
What still impresses the hell out of me is the engine is so damn willing to smoothly pull a load without effort. Entering the interstate merging with traffic while pulling my trailer was a breeze and that's without a tune.
Last year my neighbor got his Dodge four-by Dually buried in snow, mud and muck, a 4x4 Wrecker couldn't get him out. My truck in 4-Low, with chains attached to the back of mine and to the front of his truck pulled it sideways to get him out...like a greasy string out of a cat's rear... (nice visual).
I would buy another Ford Diesel in a minute..JB

JB - Best of luck with the sale of your truck.
yeah the gears hurt you a bit. you may wanna try an mcc unlock and some custom tunes , you may like them alot better as most do. we sell h&s stuff on the daily, good move on your part . if i were you i would absolutely replace the plastic intercooler pipe , they fail , often. when they fail they leave you on the side of the road. it's that pos plastic pipe on outlet side of the intercooler. we sell them for $294 and they are a great piece of mind upgrade.

I know, I read on Google about dudes complaining about their MPGs, I would keep it..but the HOA Natzies Neighbors call our Deputy Dooright Security if I park it longer than an hour off my driveway... I have thought about parking it at a local storage facility...
Oh yeah, anyway to satisfy the DEF requirements without the hefty price DEF I pick up at Autozone.
Anyhoo, this is a 997 TT Forum, and don't want to take advantage...if someone wants a nice truck they know how to reach me Thanks all. JB

Thank you! I shipped my truck from CO to IL and had Scheid go through it and do the "works". I don't know what pipes they used, but I am pretty sure that I am good north of 1,000 lb.ft. You may know Scheid? (My next truck will be ordered in '19 and it will be a Fitzgerald Pete 389 glider w/C15)

Sorry JB...
yep, i have Dan Scheid on speed dial , he's a good friend. i assume you went to the Effingham shop , and saw brad and the crew . i would make sure they did the ic pipe , you can pop your hood and it's a very visible difference . pm me if you have questions as to what to look for .
