I have a V1 installed in my 928 that I think has the latest software (with Junk Filter upgrade) and the BT module, along with the mirror mount that I might be willing to swap you. I'ts in perfect condition. Do you know if the modular jack that supplies power has power and ground running through the same contacts between the V1 and Escort as I've already installed the hardwire power supply and probably don't want to have to redo that work.
Does yours support the BT and Escort Live functionality?
Let me know if interested.

Hi OP,
I'm interested. But I'm between installing a remote sys with front and rear sensors, which was on the 997.1 TT I'd bought, but then sold it and bought a 997.2 TTS.
There's aprox a $2300 delta between yours and a professionally installed sys, which has to be mostly labor.
My question is what performance does this unit provide for radar/lazir rear engagements? You may not know, since you had it in the car one time...so no worries.
Thank you,
JB

HI John,
I do not know, other than what I have read, and there are several comparisons of the Escort Max360 and the Valentine One on the interweb. I have 3 Valentine Ones in 3 cars and I put on approximately 60K miles per year. The V1 works very effectively for threats approaching from the rear. Based on the reviews, I can only guess that the Escort does it at least as well.
Apparently the biggest difference with the Escort is a lack of false alarms as compared to the V1. The V1 in my experience does get a lot of X and K false alarms, as such I have turned off all but Ka and Laser alerts on my V1's and for me it works really well in that configuration.
Hope this helps

The prices fluctuate constantly, it has been everywhere between a $450 and $650 over the last 2 months, it was only at that price for maybe a day or so, its back at around $650 now, if you put it in your cart as a "save for later" you can get notifications of price drops.

Apparently, these units often come defective and you have to go through them to make sure they work right according to posters on escort radar forum.
