The only opinion that matters is yours. If you like it go for it. 996s are not collector cars and probably never will be unless it's a low mileage mint condition original car, in the year 2050.

three options:
1. car half in, half out
2. specially engineered removal option. Use a common 1/2" wrench to remove the 8 trunk bolts, and the wing slides off easily. Wing can then be used as a work bench or cat house whichever you prefer.
3. Build a bigger garage.

Thank you for the picture. That is essentially my car. Same rims as well. Good to see what it may look like. Did you consider the GT3 tek GT3 side rockers?
How does the lip fit? Any concerns about the shipping method?

An aero 996 is a truly beautiful car - even mine, with the "wrong" wing (MKII aero on my MK1 996) looks amazing. The aerokit adds so much to the 996's looks.
Leasing a new 911, enrolling in Hair Club for Men, and becoming a sugar daddy to a young lady who is old enough to vote but not quite old enough to buy liquor are all earmarks of a midlife crisis. Wanting to make your 996 even better looking than it already is...that's not a crisis. That's just good thinkin'.
Here's my "wrong" car - I will never change it. I think it's perfect.

Umm, correction... with the exception of having to replace the wheels due to combing your mullet and making smoochy faces while driving. (snicker)
Where is the *new* picture with the turbo twist wheels?
