Beautiful car! Good luck only driving in the dry in Seattle - hope to see you on the roads in the future.

Thanks for everyone for your kind words. When I am away I always from them I am always thinking I need to sell them since I just don't use them enough, but whenever I go out to visit them, I fall in love all over again. I just remember how much I desired Porsches back when I was growing up.

My plan for the car is to keep the Aerokit on for about a year or two and then get the car back to stock for a change. Likely to unload the aerokit at that time. While I like the areo kit look and am still more in love with the basic classic look of the 993 lines.

Now to address the specifics on all of your replies:

1) On the wheels. Seems like you are all in agreement on the wheel choice. While I am OK with the wheels on there now, I am not a fan of chrome wheels and I think the Hollow spoke just give it a much more modern look with the larger diameter. It was also an option in 95 so I feel OK putting them on.

2) My location. Yes I am on the eastside of seattle and the cars I drive the most are my C4S on rainy days and my Green Huracan on sunny days. The 996 is exclusively for the track and the 993 will be the car I take to shows. Hope to run into you guys (of course not literally :-) )

3) On my collection strategy. My original strategy was to get 1 of every 911 generation. However, I got sidetracked when I bought the 928 and when I traded in my 991 GT3 for the Lambo. Now I think my new strategy may be to collect yellow Porsches, one of my ideas (which is not likely to be popular with purists) is to restore the 912 and paint it speed yellow. Porsches look soooo good in that color.

4) On my 996 being a GT3. My 2000 996 is heavily modified C2 with factory Aerokit. JRZ suspension, Brembo BBK, Giken LSD with complete tranny rebuild by Box, Roll Bar, Period correct Euro GT3 seats, Complete repaint with new MkII rear bumper, Center radiator, 997 shifter (which I love), Fabspeed Maxflo mufflers (had supercups but resonance drove me crazy), 200 cell cats. There is a bunch of stuff I am sure I am forgetting but in the end I have a lot more into the car then a 996 GT3 would have cost me. Sometimes I regret it but at the same time, my 996 has become my favorite car since it is customized to purely my needs.

Thanks again, looking forward to learning all about 993s :-)

Thanks John....The Huracan is my favorite a well ;-) Btw I have your products in my 997 and 996. I lost the two clamps for the 997 center exhaust bypass...I had to fabricate my own but they are rusting...Is there a way I can order them from you.

Apologies for the late response, it has been nuts with the holidays haha. Great to hear you've been running some Fabspeed on the Porsches! Our Huracan system is actually one of the best sounding exhaust systems we have ever made, I am quite jealous you own one!

I'd be happy to send you out replacement clamps, just give me a shout at the office or my cell below as I have some questions to make sure I ship you the right ones.
