I have an iPhone 7 Plus (and had an iPhone 6s Plus before it). I highly recommend one of the ProClipUSA.com clips. If you listen to music, get the one where you supply the USB cable, as the one with their black cable, at least when I used it, led to occasional brief disconnections.

I have my phone in Apple's leather case, so I use the holder with part number 514667, and the console mount part number 834878. Since I have the PDK, I don't need the additional part number 215183 needed for manual transmissions.

Keep mine in adjustable cup holder. Closed all the way fits iPhone perfectly, at perfect height, is free and obviously folds away unseen afterwards.

Good solution except I constantly use the Waze GPS app because of Police location etc and never use the Porsche one so would not be able to see in glove box.

That's pretty much what I expected.

On high-threat missions I bring an EWO to operate and monitor the various CM systems. It's less distracting.

I have a magnetic mount next to the PCM. Very sleek. No need for an ugly cradle.

See attached.

I got the metal bracket from this guy.
http://t-design9.com

And then I bought a magnetic flush mount here. I just stuck it onto the bracket.

The magnetic mount is very stable. Phone won't budge even under high G forces.

I like mine for a couple reasons..
-constant power charges phone
-easy to access for texting while resting arm on console ..although I NEVER do that while driving

I had to alter the mount slightly to give it more of a vertical stance but it's very stable and the phone is easily mounted/unmounted
