Default FS: entry level 944 S 16 valve head $300

1987 944S Porsche cylinder head. For sale is the bare head with matching caps. It doesn't come with valves or valve cover or even cap bolts! Consider it a spare or a basic head to add your existing components to and perform a proper rebuild. It does however come with a tensioner feed tube & there is an extended banjo bolt to feed the tube (as the original ones are short & they tend to strip out). This cylinder head is a bit rough: some of the cam bores are scored and the bottom surface should be skimmed when at the machine shop. It's an entry level head & useful to someone looking for an affordable, entry level component. Note: I have had the head inspected by a 30 year heavy duty mechanic who teaches mechanics at a respected institute of technology. I asked him about polishing some of the cam bores that are scored. He said the scored bores are fine to reuse & he doesn't recommend polishing.
$300 US includes purchase of item & shipping anywhere in North America.
