I painted mine with Flexidip while on the car....not supreme color, but you can peel it off if you do not like it.

Default Wheels and calipers

Great looking car, welcome back to the flock. Check out this RL thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...plication.html

Painting the calipers? So faux...why not the real deal from Gert at Carnewal? The dollar against the Euro is very favorable. He will sell you the Turbo calipers, any sort of pads, includes rotors too, and all necessary parts, for $4,742. http://www.carnewal.com/products/P93...-Brake-Package.

Get those Turbo calipers and a set of Tramont wheels...Hog Heaven! Gert will sell you the Turbo front calipers as well as either the RS rear calipers (Bigger pistons, more bite), or the standard 993 Turbo rear calipers, more than adequate bite.

To illustrate what a bargain, consider that LA Dismantlers http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/1622730...&ul_noapp=true is selling the same thing used, for $2,999, and they look to be in so, so shape. So for $1,700 more you get all new rotors, calipers, misc. parts. I may just have to buy this brake kit from Gert.

Beautiful car, congrats. I would vote for the Techart by Speedline Daytona wheels. They are rare wheels, but I found a used set recently in the parts marketplace so there are some out there. If you can't find a used set, I know that Jim Dorociak has them and can build and paint to your specs. Not cheap as others have mentioned.

That color would look great with some painted hardback sport seats from Waldemar..

The regular brakes are more than adequate. I'd allocate your resources elsewhere. Besides painted calipers in red, yellow, etc were a factory option.

You have a great car..get some inside and engine pics when you can.

See this thread about M033 springs, they are stock Porsche Euro springs so they are soft ride yet inch or so lower. Have them on mine. Gert from Cornwall in the Netherlands has them and ships the next day and also Suncoast Porsche in FLA. https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...rings-row.html

I bought the Turbo bumper from Gert and had it in 4 days. The turbo bumper has the bumpertte deletes and clear turn signals. Just save all your stock parts and never part with them. One day if you ever sell the car collectors want them stock as they came. But make it look great while you own it.

Congrats on the car. I'll echo others in saying that I love the color. Regarding what to do to the car......depends on the mileage and whats been done before. If the car is approaching 100k miles and has not had a top end done, you are close to needing one. You'll know when the car fails to smog out in S. Calif.
