Default 991 Christmas Gift Ideas

The most important machine in my life deserves a special gift this time of year. My 991 deserves to be touched by the best certified Porsche driving gloves. These gloves serve 2 purposes: 1) racing in lemons events. 2) caressing the GTS steering wheel on track days.

Let's see your gifts or gift ideas....

I am getting my new 911 TTS Cab a set of winter pyjamas (aka indoor car cover), for the 'hibernation months'. I was also thinking an aftermarket exhaust system??

There are different Stand 21 models. I've used mine on formula cars and others and think they are quite grippy. I have their top of the line. Excellent fit as well. So maybe there are different models that are not grippy?

Just got a set of those Speedcat shoes and they make shifting even more fun.

As for my 991 I bought a Pearl Rearvision backup camera. Very good product overall and if it saves me from backing into one thing in my 991 it will have paid for itself.

Cheers,
NF

Please LMK how this is working out. Install simple as removing rear light and tapping power from it?

I bought the Pearl Rearvision backup camera for Christmas, too and have been very happy with it! Nice addition for a car that didn't come with a back up camera...

The install is putting a license plate frame on the rear and attaching something to the obd. There's a good thread on 6speed on this. I highly recommend the pearl.

Lot of good info in here:

(And I put mine on last week and am really happy with it - quick, easy wireless solution that works!)
