Getting her ready for winter. I bought a 4S for a reason! Got winter tires installed. Went with Pirelli. Not my first choice but nothing else available right now and time is up.
This weekend I did detailed it with the ultimate goal of getting a coat of pure Carnauba wax to help protect the paint from salt this winter. I also waxed the wheels (first time doing that) and cleaned then protected the top. All in all several hours of quality time learning all of the lines of this beautifully designed machine.

cool! - so the summer wheels are the turbos, and the OG's are your winter wheels? (Baller)
PRO TIP - you may or not have heard it yet, it's similar to the mandatory clear sides (your post made me laugh-to-self!), center caps: the bottom of the crest should point to the valve stem.
That's another of the myriad 'secret handshakes' in the club.
RE the exhaust - think of it like this.
You saved 20 grand by not buying the 991. That calls for a bonus.
Check in with the CFO, and pitch the personal tour of the Fabspeed shop. If it turns out there's something that suits you, maybe there's a champagne and oysters afternoon lunch, (install happens while you gush over the lady) and win/win - a very reasonable 'bonus' for saving big on the 991 pass, and it connects your executive team in a much more personal way to the project.
As Joe said, it's a slippery slope. (Best to lift your feet and enjoy the ride)
I imagined my car would be stock and happy forever when I bought it, and the only thing it's missing is a damned fox tail hanging off the rear bumper now. haha
Welcome aboard, and enjoy!

Good for you on getting it out there in the winter!! The C4S was made for that
One suggestion. Instead of carnauba I would go with a sealant (I use menzerna but plenty of options out there). The sealant will last much longer than the wax. I put a coat on mine a couple of weeks ago and wont really touch the paint till I can get a good wash in the spring. You can spray it down esp underneath but to me no sense in washing as in the winter its dirty 30 mins later anyways!
Re exhaust, you can go full Fabspeed or you could start with just the gundo/fisters as its a good (first) step. I had a gundo for a few years and then went with full headers and cats - pretty aggressive now!

Congratulations and welcome to the club.
I agree that the 997 Turbo wheels look great. I would love to have a set on my car.
I'd suggest that now that you've already made your first mod, your second should be the Gundo hack. There is no better bang for the buck--especially since you mentioned that you want the car to sound better.

Fully agree with Iceter. Two of the best mods you can do are Gundo/Fister and a center by-pass. Both on mine... I went Fister/SW but Fabspeed are great too.
Enjoy! (Here's my darker twin...)
Has clear markers now -- don't worry anyone!
