They would be going in an 82 Euro S with 7 inch sealed beams.

If they are for a RHD car then they will blind the oncoming traffic.

These look like they are just the reflectors and lenses - you need the whole carrier frames or you cannot mount them. They are most likely RHD/LHT so not suitable for USA (regardless what you do there is no possible conversion that can make that kind of lamp work for LHD/RHT).

The "prism" part of the lens is on the wrong side. Those are for Right Hand Drive (RHD).

Dangerous, illegal, stupid and rude to use in the US.

Thanks for the input. I am going to play around with them. They were cheap. Maybe can be mounted upside down and original carrier modified. Worth a try. All I have to mess up are my rusty sealed beam mounts.

Theye will never work in a LHD US car. The H4 reflectors and lenses are configured for a hard horizontal cutoff on the driver's side, and a slight upward wedge on the curb side starting on the curb side of beam center.

Mounting them upside down won't help, as no light will hit the ground except for a bit at the curb; the rest will be above center and into oncoming driver's eyes no matter what.

Best mountig configuration for these would be pointed to the rear, but leave the wiring disconnected so you don't blind yourself if you accidentally turn them on.

As Dr Bob says (and as I had already said) there is NO WAY to make these work on a USA (or any LHD/RHT) vehicle.

You could also contact Roger and get a set of lhd lenses for H4s that he had made to retrofit onto the H5 housing.

Just remove your old glass and put on the new.

Would be better to just save them as-is and sell it when they become really expensive.....and they will, just give it some time.

Considering the fact that my 8" Bosch are RHD and I would have to get new mounts to use them I came up with an alternative till I can get 8" Bosch euro LHD h4 someday. I bought the Autopal 7" h4 on eBay and they are much better than the sealed beams I had. I am getting new chrome retainer rings cause my old ones had missing tab each. I will have to put the chrome bits back on but these are raised and flat and closely resemble 8" h4 lamps. They also put out good light. I used sylvania xtravision 60/55W halogen bulbs

If they are anything like the 7" Bosch units then you will be very pleased with their performance. Other than the look of the 8" units, these 7" retrofits are more than enough of an upgrade to leave them alone.

Wanted to post the finished product (for now) I have not seen this combo before with the raised flat lens and chrome trim. Still don't like the chrome but it's necessary in this application.
