Wow that is perfect! We are big fans of Sport Classic!
The GT4 wheel set has been to known to work on the 981 Spyder. We have sold a few sets to Spyder owners so far. Consult a wheel specialist and see what they say in regards to tire choice and offset. The wheels are a half inch wider in the rear with a slightly different offset all around. Shoot us a PM if you have any questions
GT4 Front: 8.5x20 ET61
GT4 Rear: 11x20 ET50
Spyder Front: 8.5x20 ET57
Spyder Rear: 10.5x20 ET47

My Spyder
Actually that is me in my Spyder, but it is not in SoCal but rather in Barrington Illinois as I was leaving a Supercar Saturday event. The Barrington Police SUV was stationery parked to make sure that no "burn outs" when leaving the event.
Mine has the classic wheels and the Spyder Classic Red interior.
Mad far as I know there are only three Fashion Grey Spyders; yours, mine and one in the UK. One in the UK also has black wheels and black interior.

Mine is Sport Classic Grey, not Fashion Grey... They are very close though.

....I just decided that Sport Classic Grey is a shy color... in photographs it always looks white, where in the flesh is looks grey.

Just realized I never replied to this. Suncoast's quote was just as high. First quote was from my local dealer, Sunset. I wonder why the Spyder wheels are far more than the GT4's? Volume??? IIRC Spyder volume was close to half the GT4. Not sure if that plays into the price.

Here's another great shot of Howard's PTS Fashion Grey Spyder! Looks awesome!
I really want the silver wheels... I'm really digging the idea of changing the look based on my mood.

On the price, maybe the Spyder wheels are forged, like my turbos. That's why they're that expensive, and the only optional forged wheels on regular 981s (initially thought only the technos were forged, but they're not, and the turbos are, so a nice surprise). My wheels are also wider than normal (and same as technos), at 8.5/10, but with the same tire sizes. I can't believe Porsche put the same puny 265 on a 10.5" wheel on Spyders; it's too wide for that tire. Since my wheels are 0.5" wider all around, will move up to 245/275s when it's time to change tires, which are the ideal tire size for that wheel size. And with some luck, the MP4Ss will be exactly the same diameter in those sizes as my current F1s, which are 1/2" taller overall than my brother's BGTS P-Zeros. A Spyder would be perfect with a 245/285/35 then, no? Although the rear wouldn't match the front increase regardless, a 295/30 would be an option on the minus side... if it fits properly on a 10.5" wheel. That's why I'm considering the move, since 245/275/35 would preserve perfectly the factory front/rear diameter bias.

No idea as I have yet to see one in the flesh. The Panamera is also available in Chalk. I'm sure my dealer will get one and when they do, I'll try to get some comparison shots.

From pics:
Chalk = warmer with slight red cast
Fashion = warmer with slight yellow cast
Sport Classic = cooler grey with more blue cast
Can't judge colors from pics though... cameras can skew colors so many different ways.
Here are some pics of a panamera in chalk.
