Default Wheel cleaner caused brake squeal

I recently purchased a 2015 gt3. I was washing it and used a spray on wheel cleaner to remove brake dust. Now my brakes on the right rear squeal loudly when I am almost comming to a stop. Any ideas on how I can remedy this?
Thanks.

some spirited driving and hard braking should fix that. Congrats on the GT3!

The brake pads are a compromise between street and track. They can squeal, especially the rears. One track day for material transfer (from pad to rotor) and it goes away. Some spirited drives with hard braking should also be able to help improve.

I have PCCBs and I find the opposite to be true. After I wash the car, the brakes are silent, but after 10 days or so they're squeaking again.

I will give the spirited driving a shot. Although, my first drive in the car got me a peace of paper from a man in a uniform. He said that 83mph in a 55 mph was a litlle to spirited!

Be careful with wheel cleaner on GT3 wheels. I'm not sure about all wheel cleaner products, but some will definitely cause oxidization on your anodized center lock wheel nuts. Leaves the surface looking rough and in some cases with whitish splotches.

Not to pile on, but I would highly recommend washing the wheels with just car wash shampoo and a dedicated microfiber mitt. also, get them coated with a nano coating (lots of good ones on the market now) and they will not only be way easier to clean, but they will also stay clean longer since the dust has a tougher time grabbing onto the surface

I find generally the same, except maybe after 3 weeks or so they squeak only occasionally

Thanks for the input. I'm going to have a ceramic coating put on the car and wheels. But let me say this is no minor squeak, this is a full on embarrassing squeal. It doesn't start until the brakes warm up

What kind of wheel cleaner did you use? Most cheap wheel cleaners that you can purchase at the local auto parts store are corrosive and should not be used.

It's normal bro ........ it's a race car. I just ignore it, and will go away.

I've used about a half a dozen different quality wheel cleaners on mine with no issues. I like Nexzett Colortech for steel and Adam's for Carbon Ceramic.

all of my Carbon Ceramic ( GT3, 458, ZR1) brakes squeak but nowhere near as badly as the steels on my GT4---think school bus or garbage truck loud!!
