Larrytrk - that's a true piece of history .... I've actually been on the hunt for one of those original key pouches but sadly they are priced at Unobtanium levels. I bought my '68 from my uncle in '92, who bought it in '72 from the original owner. And while I've kept it 100% original as I've been restoring it (including 2 of the original keys), I unfortunately don't have any of the original key pouches or fobs. It was a great call to keep a hold of yours, and it makes a great bridge between your '71 and your '09!

Definitely recommend it for $10 or $12 or whatever it is.

Thanks for the lead!

They don't have any listed for sale but I've written to them and they have them for sale @ £13 delivered.

FWIW, they do not have a 997 key ring.

Stange! These are most of their Porsche keychains. Not sure why they aren't listed for sale at the moment: http://www.ebay.com/sch/keyrings-uk/...p2046732.m1684

Unsure why they are not listed other than perhaps that Porsche has come after them? In fact, Porsche isn't listed when you search on their eBay store.

I would say something is up. I had already purchased mine and then got the below a few days later.

"We're writing to let you know that we've removed an item you recently won:
302093314922 - black Porsche Design High Quality Leather-Key Ring Gold Crest Keychain for Porsc

Since you've already paid for the item, you don't need to do anything else. If your item hasn't arrived yet, it should arrive soon. If it doesn't, then you'll want to open a case in our Resolution Center. You can learn how to do this, plus find timelines for opening cases, at:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/item-not-received.html

We wish you all the best on eBay and hope your future experiences are pleasant and successful. If you have questions, please click "Help & Contact" at the top of most eBay pages.

eBay still has lots of other great deals. Go to http://www.ebay.com to shop. We hope to see you soon.

Thanks,

eBay "

I haven't recieved the key chain and it's been a few weeks. It was only a few bucks so not sure if I'll get around to making a claim.

Pretty lame...

I adjusted the Porsche lanyard to create my own key chain. It gives a good weight.

This one is original as I have stated, I have a second that I got with my 92 C2, in 97. My second original from 71 bit the dust many years ago. THey are really hard to find, as you have stated, and if you find one, they are expensive...
