Fair enough; you crave technical. However, eloyex kindly disclosed that the thread is not technical. After having read the title, why did you bother to 1) open up the thread, 2) read it and 3) take the effort to research the archives if not to make the OP feel...small. Not cool.

To Disreali's point, it's not as if eloyex's girlfriend is hard on the eyes. And here you are crapping on the thread.
Hard to understand why the guy felt compelled to belittle the op. I found his thread a lot of fun to read.

Hey look everyone, a pedantic Porsche owner.

To the OP and anyone else in his position, you're lucky men that you can share your passions with the people you love.

Sorry eloyex, I know this isn't easy to hear but it's something I have to get off my chest so we might as well get it out of the way now.

I've fallen in love with points' wife...

...and his dog...and his car.

I wish things could've been different between us but I'm a fickle dude and I always have been.

What's that hairy thing on her right shoulder? Have it checked and removed ASAP

We'll be in Sunny Miami driving a convertible in a week and a half. Wish the area had the roads to actually enjoy the cars.

Default Wives & Porshes, Keep 'em both Happy!

I have found the best way to keep a wife and a Porsche at the same time is to give the car to your wife as a gift as soon as it's purchased. Keeps the car's and your wife's battery charged and when you tinker with the car for endless hours. The idea of "the other woman" never pops into your wife's head during these extended periods as you are really looking after her comfort and safety as you engage in routine maintenance such as installing that aftermarket exhaust system and that golden rod shifter.

PS: I have done this three times to good effect, Wives only! Don't be car-less and give it to your girlfriend as this can end very badly leaving you without a ride or a companion!

Here's my wife in ours. It started with a photo like in the first post and ended up on the autocross course. Very fun to get out there together.

Hi Eloy,

Good to see you still enjoying the C2S. We should go for a drive with the wives sometime! Here is mine enjoying the C4S.

Best,
Will

My wife drove my 993 maybe twice. That's it. She didn't enjoy it since a) she's not into cars at all, and b) she didn't want to feel responsible if she bent my baby. ...no, I did not put that on her!
And the track? ...fugghettaboutit! As many times as we've all gone as a family, I could not coax her to get into the passenger seat once, let alone even try to get her to drive an event. Don't get me wrong, my wife's the best ...let me have this and the track toy so yeah, she's the best! But "passengering" is more her style. You guys enjoy what ya got!
