What's the budget? Only doing the front seats? What is the current color combination?

Yes, only fronts right now. Here is colors today:
Black & Tan...and budget..Rob Budd already has the seats, I'm comfortable with the pricing we have already discussed, not a huge problem.
In the embroidered crest, I am considering the stitching to be in tan to match the carpet/door inserts.
And I like the idea of french seam, to not catch on anything...since Jim mentioned it, yes, I know I lightly snag on the piping now and then.

My only issue with stitching is it won't match the rear seats. Not something that would bother me, just something to consider.
Tan stitching on black seats would be awesome! A lot of people don't like the two tone, I think it's not used enough.
These are expensive cars and should have expensive looking interiors (like an Aston Martin).
I had photos of black seats with tan inserts, cannot find them now (wasn't a 928, in a 911 I think).

The rears will be done soon enough...just not today.
Hmm..tan french seams and embroidery...ok..I can see that.
Im also considering alcantara centers, i black...but im trying to "see" them in my head as tan..wondering if that's too much.
The black leather seat to black alcantara is a "highlight" in color/textured in itself.

Yup...that's why my interior re-do has been on hold...for many many years...I cannot make up my mind.
These photos are from 10? years ago, trying to decide what color to add to the interior of my 81.....still haven't done anything.

Over the years Rob's has been flawless that I have seen, or Constantine's.
I think im going with:
Black leather seats
Black alcantara upper and lower inserts
Tan embroidery on headrest
Tan french seam stitching (Only for seat edges, not centers and inserts)
Tan leather over seat adjuster button
Recover the door inserts in matching tan leather (Existing is tan vinyl)
Options in my head are, only alcantara for the upper center section, or none at all.
Wanna get rid of some of the summer burn from black leather, but I like the grip of the alcantara...and that mix of leather with it would look a lot like some of the modern porsche seats too.

I went through this a year or two ago with Rob. I went with piping instead of French seams, because I thought the French seams make the seats look slightly fatter. The piping creates a knife-edge look, which I think fits with the older seats' design.
Just my opinion.
Rob will do a great job, no matter what you choose.
