i just bought a 50k mi 993tt (96) for roughly 100K a few weeks ago -- the way the car came to me i think i paid a little under market, but not by much
it is very clean, great shape but does have minor accident history and aftermarket garrett turbos
it is a joy to drive and look at... just love it
so keep looking and have dry powder ready... i think you will find your car

There's some 25-35k mile cars out there that's been for sale for a year or longer. Seller's are now hoping against hope that they'll get that "last guy" willing to pay 145K dollars for them.
I've been ready to buy for 6 mos. But I don't see anything moving. I'm waiting. I believe time is on the buyer's side.

Look at the 430 manual and 964RS America market prices also. 430 manuals(over original MSRP) are asking a similar number as a scud(under original MSRP.) I struggle with these valuations as well but market is the market.
Don't buy if you don't think the value is there for the 3TT at this price point.

Not many of those around.
Should be possible to get a good condition/accident free 60k+ car for $100k this winter. Good luck with your search. They are great cars.

Time is on your side Shark. Stay vigilante and be prepared to pull the trigger fast. With over 5000 built, there is definitely one out there meeting your condition & price criteria. May just take a little time for it to enter the market.

Supply and demand . good ones will be considered good investment as people want to move to hard assets.

You should also offer $100k to some of the +$100k cars sitting out there. Someone may bite for a cash buyer with little drama. Cash is king and BS walks.

I think the time to buy is between now and January 1st or February 1st.
I just upgraded my 96 midnight blue/marble gray 36K mile car for a 97 white with tan sport seats 27K mile car for almost nothing out of my pocket except for PPI and transport.
There are some really good deals around, you just have to find the right one.
Also, if the car was properly maintained and taken care of and not abused or tracked, I wouldnt be afraid of a car with 50-80000 miles. These motors are very strong as long as they arent modified or beaten up all the time.
If anyone needs help finding a car or has questions feel free to PM me. I have worked in the car industry for 21 years and I have gotten to know LOTS of air cooled Porsche people, so I am pretty well plugged into the market.

I recently mentioned that I was looking in a post, had two guys pm me with 100k obo asks. So, they're out there, if you have a 100k, you'll find a seller, may be an off color or wood interior but.....There was a black on cashmere one fs forever at 120k, I know for a fact it went in the 90s after months.

Best of luck with it.
(All I would do is find a set of hollow spoke turbo wheels for it and it will be perfect)
