What is Porsche's position about this when the manual says in the first few pages to break in engine under 4k rpm and do not participate in Motorsports events or sport driving schools for the first 2k miles?
Guess you missed this part of his first post:

congrats on the car
I was there for 2 days 6 weeks ago and the facility, people etc were great
Just curious was the gt4 session complimentary as this is a 500 dollar value ? and if free, I will encourage every one ordering a car to do it

Free if you are having a GT4 delivered. They will have you take out the equivalent car to the one you purchased. Including GT3s and RSs.

I signed the board, right under number 1, everyone taking delivery in 2016 (inaugural year) will get to sign the board.

Further, and I will post in his thread as well, anyone taking delivery at PEC, or anyone on the east coast for that matter, should do them selves and their car a favor, and go see Jean-Claude at Detailed Designs. Im not gonna lie when I say I was a little apprehensive when I pulled up to his very non descript building, but once inside, and seeing how they do even the littlest thing, I cannot recommend them enough. I used to detail cars for a living, I owned my own shop, Ive only been completely satisfied with one other person working on my cars, now... Make that 2.

The clear bra install is easily the best I've ever seen (without removing anything more than headlights), and the paint correction, Modesta coating is perfect..I mean PERFECT.

It was worth the trip, and the couple day wait, and it will be for you too. They even have a trailer for pick up and delivery, this is a great service!

The stone guard has already been put to work, and it got hit on the way home, did its job, and only a small mark in the stone guard.

Only 100 more miles till the first oil change, and then I will start to ramp up the rpms. Cant wait!!

LOVEing this car!

Congrats! My delivery is scheduled for next Tuesday and I can't wait!!

Agree on Jean Claude - he and his crew are the best at what they do!

Side note - I'm surprised to see you taking delivery of a GT4 now. Weren't they done earlier this year?
