FYI, the ship just resurfaced somewhere off the coast of Acapulco. Five days left to get to Point Hueneme and then another handful of days to pass through Long Beach and San Diego.

Getting close.

The ghost ship has reappeared. It's northwest of Cabo, getting closer! It'll get to Point Hueneme this week.

I'm beginning to think it will only stop in Hueneme. I've been looking at the vessel schedules at both Long Beach and San Diego ports, and to date neither of them show the ship on their sites. Is it possible that the European delivery cars are handled differently than 'normal' cars? It's my understanding that Porsche only delivers new cars via a single company in San Deigo (at least on the west coast). Perhaps since these are technically used cars they do not follow the same process.

Does anyone know for sure?

Doubt it. My shipping manifest specifically said San Diego, and both the shipping agent and my PCNA rep have always ever referenced San Diego.

She's back on radar. About 250 miles south of Tijuana.

She's off the coast of San Diego and about to be in US waters!

She'll be in Point Hueneme tonight. Long Beach probably by Friday, and back to San Diego for drop-off on Sunday.

Welcome to US territorial waters! Anyone want to take a field trip to PV and spot the ship?

Oh dip! Update time:

The ship has already left Point Hueneme, which seems really fast. Its destination is listed as San Diego (yay), but its ETA is listed as the evening of 9/18. It won't take it 4 days to travel 200 miles, which probably means it's making a stop in Long Beach on the way, but it's odd that its destination says something else.

I've been looking at least twice per day at the schedule for the port of Long Beach and it never shows the Jupiter Leader as stopping there. Agree that it must be stopping somewhere. Otherwise it might be just sitting in the SD harbor, waiting for a berth.

I checked with my dealer today and they said San Diego Friday.
