Was there with Mayur to pick up his beauty yesterday. (Mine is the other lava in the pic) It was so incredible for it to finally get here. We were, frankly, starting to worry about poor Mayur. He walked around the house mumbling things about the captain of the Fremantle Highway, ceramic brakes and custom door sills.
It's a spectacular build and the door sills are awesome. A real tribute to the smokies and all we are trying to do to end Cystic Fibrosis. We were all surprised at the level of detail in them. Hennessy had never tried something so intricate and the GM was even blown away.
Can't say enough good things about Hennessy Porsche. John Dissen is THE MAN! And the GM Mark Venti is right up there too. Top shelf from beginning to end. Awesome guys who buy in to the vision of the Smokies and did everything they could to make this a memorable day for Mayur. After a long voyage... She's finally home! Congrats Mayur!

These "It's Here!" threads never gets old, to tap into the enthusiasm of another taking delivery on a special car. Congrats with the Lava Orange and PCCB's. Looks great. My white '15 GT3 may look a tad pedestrian next to it, but I still love it each time I turn the key.
