Help: 95db to 98db is a problem.
My .1 GT3 is unfortunately too loud for AMS track in AZ and I'm told, too loud for Laguna Seca - a track I'd like to drive before I die. Any quick fixes to get my factory exhaust down to 95db or below so I can run this car?

What do you use to measure 98dB ? or are you quoting the spec Porsche provide ?

I drive Laguna fairly often and can tell you that the key is to short shift and take it easy coming up the hill between T5 & T6 as that's where the sound meter is. I've also seen loads of cars with Laguna Pipes.

a race track with sound restrictions ?
that is strange
I read a little about it and know understand the reason about Laguna Seca

A sound check I got black flagged for. The draconian penalty for busting the limit was so penal that I pulled out of the event rather than short shift the car and have zero fun. Laguna pipes, eh?

Blame the ******** who live in neighboring Litchfield Park. I believe it's a city ordinance or something to that effect that track has to abide by or they receive a fine. The asinine thing is Luke AFB (an active fighter jet base) is adjacent to the track. If you have a stock exhaust, typically you'll pass and I've seen GT3s run out there plenty of times. They'll give you a sticker to put on your door jam when you pass sound check.

cheapest fix is to lift and short shift at turn five. We race recently and my car passed on saturday. Sunday had no cloud cover but the direction of the breeze had my car fail on Sunday. Had to remove supertraps.
