Default Help with seat mounting question

I had a tall passenger in my car and we noticed that the passenger seat has less foot room than the driver seat. Upon inspection it seemed that there is an inch or more space behind the passenger seat before it will interfere with something.

Is it possible to remount the seat track back a little or are there additional mounting holes in the seat mounting points that will allow for a little further back set for the seat rails?

I rather not pull the seat out just to see if it has a choice of mounting points when someone on Rennlist may already know this.

Ask and ye shall receive. This is the passenger side ---- front is right and rear is left. The inboard rear mounting position has a hole that is covered by factory carpet. If you peel the carpet back you will discover the hole.

I've dropped several pairs seats in and out and never fully understood the logic of these extra holes. Now it all makes total sense! Thanks so much Jlaa for connecting the dots (or rather holes) here!

Does the driver seat have the same setup with two potential mounting positions?

You guys are welcome - glad I could help and contribute back to the tribal knowledgeable.

Yes, the driver's seat mounting has additional holes as well --- see photo attached.
