Yes, that red one of yours is beautiful. Still time to get another good one, as the deals are out there.

Is there a thread on the discovery/purchase of this car?

no Jim, there isn't. I found the car while ebay browsing. Rocinante did post the craigs list listing of it on the for sale thread, but I never saw it there nor did it get any traction. Pretty surprising since it is a very nice looking example, with reasonably low miles, at a good price point.

BTW, looking for Cup 1's. They are the best wheels imho, and really modernize the look.

You mean these? You will have to arm wrestle Alex, if I decide on switching to a set of 16" phone dials.

yes hlee - those exactly! Can you post the sizes and offsets to save me the hassle of all of the geometry and math in my search? I know there are many flavors out there. Also, are they Porsche or Mille Migs?

The car that Linderpat bought was also on SFBAY craigslist for a short while. I had shared the listing on Norcal 928 FB site

Great Ed, you got a very nice car ,
looks like an intake refresh will finish it off.
Good luck with it

Can we have a sticky with this title for people who add to their 928 collection? Kind of an offshoot to the for sale thread?

I can attest that Ed got a GEM of a car. Great history, low miles and low owners. Recent bills at Rennsport totaling $20K. The car was as advertised, and was great to drive - no strange noises, vibrations, drips, ice cold AC, and all electrics worked, including the central locking! The seller had 4 other 928s in his driveway, and was an RL member.

Ed, when do you expect delivery?
