Looks like a lot of GT4s landing now! 29 in the last week from 20-26/7.
11 in Syd and 14 in Melb plus a few in other states. Anyone here? Still a rare sight on the road.

One of the Melbourne cars is mine. The ship docked at Melbourne on Monday last week, but when I called the dealer they hadn't received any notification from Porsche Australia.

Mine should be out of PPF and ceramic coating tomorrow.

sounds good, a friend of mine has a white one too, and another one picking up a guards red in a couple of weeks.

any recommendations for a shop to wrap the car in Sydney? essentially this will be a track toy so although never bothered putting a film on any of my other cars, I'm considering doing it on this.

So, those in the know,

can you recommend me anyone?
what sort of $$ is a full wrap worth?
finally any particular advice on what to do and or watch out for? - apparently need to make sure the headlights are locked in properly etc...

I am getting a full wrap on mine. It is getting done at Project Detail in Gladesville. He was recommended to me by a friend, but he had also done a GT3RS which I had seen at Cars N Coffee and didn't notice the wrap so I decided to go with him. I won't give you my recommendation until I pick it up tonight and see it finished.

The only other place I have heard recommended is Clear Shield in Castle Hill.

A full wrap is worth between $4k and up depending on which type of wrap material you use.

Happy for you to see my car once it is done if you want to see his work and if it is something you like. I went to see it on Monday and was impressed with his work. Most of the edges were tucked, couldn't see the film. Small bubbles were present but apparently they will go in a few days and heat.

Thats a pretty good buy and no waiting.

What was the price on Sport Bucket Seats, was it 8k?
From memory I think Sport Chrono Package was about 4k

iirc, that puts the asking price on about par with original retail although I'm not sure about the costs of tints as they are not on the configurator.

Full bucket seats from the 918 = $6,890.

Not a bad pick up for anyone in the market and yes, no waiting! I suppose the question is whether there is anyone in the market who wants one but did not get one. There are 5 others on carsales too that don't seem to be moving.
