Incorrect Windshield wiper stop position
Hey guys,
Just got my new '78 home, it has an issue with the windshield wipers I've never seen before and couldn't find any info about. The wipers work fine, but they stop in the up position instead of down. Anyone resolve this issue before? Thanks, Josh

The short arm on the motor is "clocked" wrong. I'm not sure if it's 180 degrees out but that's a good place to start.
Remove the nut, left up the short arm, move the wipers to the down position and re-attach the arm. Might take a couple of tries. And, no, you can't make them whap the hood or trim with this adjustment. You mess up the car by adjusting the arms themselves.
