I stood back for awhile and watched these guys trying to figure out how the headlights go up and down. This morning at Katie's in Great Falls, VA.

Rob, sorry to tell you Hochleistung is misspelled. Pictures from 1986 when I had acquired the first Strosek car from Germany. I still keep it in the garage but not drivable at the time being.

This is how I discovered a front ball cup bushing failure mentioned in my intro post late last week. There is a section that we travel on our way home from work (my wife and I commute together when possible) where I hit the accelerator on the aggressive side in 3rd through some tight corners, then upshift to 4th to 5th. On this particular day, as I went to 4th, the shifter went WAY too far forward. I knew something was wrong. This was literally the day prior to leaving for vacation. My wife wasn't a bit amused with the delay getting home! $14 and a couple of broken knuckles and I was back in business...I am a newbie and learning.

From back last October. I was hoping to be re-installing it by this coming October, but it's looking more like Spring 17. One wide engine.
