Thanks for all the kind comments.
Congrats Quack, I know exactly how you feel as picked mine up this morning...not much sleep.

Car is really amazing to drive, it would have to be one of the best cars I have driven, hats off to Porsche for producing a masterpiece.

I'm struggling to judge distance while reversing because I'm so used reverse senses in all other cars and this car doesn't have one plus the domed mirror doesn't help. It was impossible to park in a tight spot in my garage where my 996TT was easy with sensor, I had to call my son to help guide me in. I might have to look into an aftermarket one.

Here are some phone pics.

Tucked away for its 1st sleep in its new home.

Aaargh! Stop me thinking about spending more money

Then again those Forgelines with some RE71Rs would be just the thing for track days. Do the Forgelines require much neg camber to fit?

RE71's are what we are looking at getting them for

As for neg camber - thanks to the Pioneering from guys like Shake'N'Bake we are speccing 19 x 9.0 +50 fronts which should be ideal without rubbing at the front (and we know 19 x 11.0 +45 work on the rears without issues with the toe rods etc)

Congrats on joining the GT4 club. Morning pick up but not until evening for a few phone pics at the gas station?!? Presuming PCM gave you a full tank of gas, that sounds like a great delivery day!

Just looking at that interior it looks like there is an extra cow's worth of leather in there! Is it the highest spec'd GT4 in Australia? And picked up under original list price! Fantastic purchase. One very special car.

Hey 76Vintage

Not trying to stalk you personally but if you are looking at THEBEN then your GT4 VIN should be in the sequence from WP0ZZZ98ZGK190087 to WP0ZZZ98ZGK190232?

Just asking coz that would be confirmation that the non-North American GT4 VIN sequence has entered the WP0ZZZ98ZGK190xxx range.

Including that range, total Aussie GT4 landed or shipping would now be 143 units and counting. Last 3 were loaded in Germany on 27/6 and by incidental accounts, quite a few more to go...

THEBEN is due into Melbourne 19 July... probably <30 sleeps to go for you!

Hahaha. I can confirm this to the case. My VIN is within 150 of 190000 and it was unloaded at Port Kembla this morning, so plenty of GT4s after mine on the water.

Looking at WWL, I can see 55 GT4s in the 190xxx range.

Stalked the boat coming into Port Kembla yesterday arvo using the Wollongong Beach webcam.

Yup. After a quick exchange with gmaki, looks like North America and ROW VIN sequences added together give us more than 5000 units... maybe 5500 by the end of production!!: https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/8852...l#post13392572

Thanks Charliekay. Porsche really has ramped up production of Australian cars in the last little bit. The 190xxx GT4s loaded in June increased the total number of Aussie GT4 by about 50% - in just one month.

Haha... love the beach cam shot. Car should be just 8-10 days away?

Hope so. Really hope to have it next Friday, keep it for the weekend and drop it off for a full wrap on the Monday.

Thanks, yes full tank at dealer, a mate and I were driving around at night and we decided to pull into somewhere where there was plenty of lighting for another view of the car. Yes lots of leather and alcantara, funny my 9 year old son doesn't like the smell, he'll get over it but I love it !!

Thanks Jimmy, I have been following your posts with lots of interest. You said that you prefer the GT4 over your 991 GT3, I have driven one and I feel the same way.
