Need your guys help on a brake kits fitment issue.
I ordered a Brembo kit for my 1989 964 C4 on carid.com. However, carid.com sent wrong kit for 1989 non-964 Carrera, because its system doesn't distinguish 1989 C4 from 1989 911. I contacted them for a return. however, they rejected to accept a return for refund. They claimed that my car's VIN is a 1990 Porsche, so it is my mistake to order brake kits for 1989 model... Their customer service is very rude. Every time I tried explain to them, there are 2 models of 911 in 1989, they just slammed door on my face with the same argument.
My questions is, does below kit fit a 1989 Porsche 964 C4? If not, I have to sell it on Rennlist/eBay.

Just want to show my communications with carid Customer service guys to let Rennlist member knows the whole story. carid guys has no interest to understand the problem but to reject you by saying" Sorry, you ordered wrong items".
A clear sign for their data accuracy error is that I ordered a PSS 10 suspension and a brake kit by searching compatible products for 1989 Porsche 911 on their website. I double checked PSS10 and confirmed the product # is correct fit for 964 C4, that's why I takes grounded that the brake kits under the same search should be a fit. That was my mistake to trust them. However, as a merchant, they should take responsibility for whatever they confirmed a fit.
A quick update: I just called Danni@Race Tech, she is helping me to get an exchange. The coolest thing was she owns a 1991 964, so she got the point in 0 second.
Highly recommend to deal with Race tech for Brembo product in future.

Yeah, the RT/Brembo guys are good people, glad you are getting this worked out. Hopefully they address the issue with the reseller CarID.
