1. My 996 Turbo is lowered, and my low clearance floor jack can't reach the cross brace.

2. Using the engine case is no big deal.

Now I just use two floor jacks and evenly jack up the car on both sides, place the stands then do the front the same, this uses recommend jacking points. Move from jack to jack and it lifts evenly.

One of my floor jacks is a very low profile and long I guess that makes it possible

My rear bumper contacts the ramps before the rear wheels do...

You tried the wrong type of ramp. Try a different brand.

I own perfect ramps for what I use them for.

You might have noticed that earlier in this thread I said I lift the rear of the car using a jack on the bottom of the engine case...

I use a few pieces of old hardwood flooring, couple pieces simply stacked like steps and i can easily drive onto them (placed in front of rear tires driving forward) and then I have easy jack access to the cross member.

after swapping out my OE motor mounts I can see the concern with a case jacking point effort. after having swapped them out for a semi solid mount have no concern what's so ever lifting the car by jacking on the case. i use a 2x4 wrapped in carpet that i salvaged when changing a jetski trailer to a motorcycle carrier for a jacking pad.

If your ramps were "perfect" you would be able to use as you currently do and also back your Turbo up on them without them touching the body.

I do not care that you use a jack under the case to raise the rear. I am only addressing your use or non-use of ramps and why. Your stated non-use reason is almost as amusing as it is naive.
