Anyone have a pic? Can it be ordered, or has to be swapped after the order? Coming from Bmw, I find a beige wheel odd, seems like it will get grimy in no time. Was thinking black full coverage mats and steering wheel would be a nice offset to an otherwise beige interior

Do you want a beige or black dash? If black, then opt for the two tone, black and Luxor beige.

Dawg, you are exactly in the same camp as me. Porsche's insistence on interior-colored wheels has always struck me as way odd, and I order black as a result. Like Jack points out, you can get the dash, door tops, and wheel black with several of the special-colored interiors. Whether you can get just the wheel black... I'm sure Exclusive would do that for you for a price and long wait time. But you might want to check out the other thread that's current right now about "How do I stop the reflections from my beige dash?"

This was my previous 2010 997.2. I changed the steering wheel to a 2010 TT (notice PDK light bar on wheel -not available on Carrera until 2011) in black (used my original airbag in sand beige). Also had the hand brake and ash tray painted black for some color contrast. The dash never bothered me (glare) as I wore polarized Serengetti Drivers sunglasses.
