nope. Don't see it. And that site provides a "zoom" feature, so you can really get close to see that steering wheel.

Are you sure you are taking about the same car Joel is?

PDCC, PTV and Burmeister to be specific. Also have the 18 way seats, ACC, and the noise glass. Only down side is the mileage. There is a black one for sale with only 20k miles and it's got the same options except for the 18 way seats.
I emailed yesterday and received the reply today from a CarMax salesman that this Cayenne does NOT have PDCC. I even explained where to look for the reservoir. I would tend to trust the VIN decoder, but is there any other way to confirm short of paying to have it shipped for a personal inspection? I was moderately serious about this Cayenne until I received word it doesn't have PDCC...

Yep, here's the link I just copied as well...

If you look at the 15th photo, closeup of the steering wheel, look at the far left area of the steering wheel hub. See the bubbling on the painted surface, and some small areas where the paint is off completely (far left edge)?

Does anyone else see it? Maybe I am blind, but I cannot see any bubbles in the CLEAR coat (there is no paint involved here). Just looks like light reflections to me.

Oh well. No sense in worrying about little 'ol me. I'm not the one interested in it,... nor does it appear MountainStone, nor Joel. Someone will buy it though!!

Sorry for the detour.

I can't imagine someone would have removed it ....

The Carmax sales folk are clueless. Did you ask him why he thinks it doesn't have it - i.e. How did he make that determination?

Have him FaceTime you and look under the hood for it.

Yes, that's exactly the section I was referring to! What would have caused that....I've never seen that happen?! That's about the only thing I see with this vehicle I don't like. Otherwise (from the available pics anyway), it looks like a decent CTT. It has a nice options content.

Umm...that Cayenne is awesome (if your looking for a 958). Its pretty much as well optioned as they get. And personally, I love the silver/walnut look, I wish 957's had that walnut!

I can't imagine for a second that the PDCC was removed.

So if you guys were in the market for one of these, would you still consider this one despite the steering wheel cosmetic issue? I guess in the grand scheme of things, given all of the possible maladies these vehicles can be suffering from, this is pretty minor.

At that price, yes.

The bubbly wheel is pretty minor.

You can also ask them to fix it. Remember to get a full carfax report also, the one on their site is not. Then you can see service history as well as any issues it may have had.

Call Dallas Custom Steering Wheel if they can fix it and if there is a loaner steering wheel you can use while yours is getting repainted.

If no spare, then get a black spare steering wheel off eBay and use it. No need to buy one with an airbag. Sell it again when your fixed steering wheel comes back.
