Hit the nail right on the head!

Interesting. How come it has that little raised section in the middle. If it didn't have that it would look even better.

I am interested not only because it looks great but I assume that it can be removed and back to stock any time I like.

Looks awesome. Would like to see it in person. More info would be welcomed. How does it attach; I am assuming just like the original?

Sorry guys .. I did not get notified of posts to this thread for some reason.
Looks like I need to renew my rennlist membership or something

You can see more on my thread on the 964 board .
but I am selling them for $100 plus shipping . I have shipped a couple to England and that cost about $35 .. everywhere in the us is about $6.
they are 3D printed which leaves them with layering lines.
I spray them down with primer /filler and sand them down a bit to smooth them out. I can get 2 completed in about 2 weeks with the printing time and the finishing.
They come out pretty good as you can see from Gav's photos . but if you want them with a glass like finish you will need to do a little more sanding.

I can print them with or without the raised spine .. I have done both and think the raised spine makes it look more then a flat piece of plastic.

They are attached by sandwiching the grill between the splitter and a **** that screws in to the bottom of the splitter.
takes 2 minutes to put on /take off ..
PM me if you would like one . I will put you on a list .. as I said it does take a bit for me to do them do it might be a while but I will get one to you.

John, could you please post pics of both iterations?

funny no one has ever asked for a flat one before.
here is a picture of one of my prototypes before I designed the raised spine .
forgive the pictures , i just slapped a coat of spray paint on it.
and it is on a 964 but you get the idea. I love the look of the 993 split grill but it was never made for the 964 so I made my own ( I guess I like 993 things I have a 993 cab top on my 964 )
for payment I send out a paypal invoice once I ship the part out and you are happy with it. I do take a while to make them so I do not think it is fair to hold on to your money.

Have you done one with the black grill painted in body color like the center piece. I wonder how that will look 😎

Been busy lately and have not had the time to print. Also was not happy with the quality of the Hobby printer .
I have gotten quite a few asking for a print so I have my design up on Shapeways which is a professional 3D printing company that can produce a product at a much better quality then I can.

If you are interested you can find the Split Grill Insert for the 993 here
