Not bad for a parts car
Just received delivery of an '84 black/saddle-cork auto in very nice condition for pennies. Last owner was going to rebuild the engine (broken cam gear) but he had to move out of his residence. Sold it to me basically for nothing. Amazing full leather interior without any bubbling or rips to the leather. Just needs some cleaning to the leather and carpets.
Car looks so good that I'm tempted to put it back together instead of cannibalizing the interior for my '78.
Any advice, recommendations, pointers?
Thanks for watching

Does it have the original radio...I know you just bought a radio yesterday from Seth...but if you find yourself with an extra 84 radio...let me know...please...pretty please...pretty please with sugar on top.

When you say, "drop off", you are correct in that it could only be towed to your place on a trailer. The engine is already disconnected but in the engine bay, auto transmission, and exhaust are all there, but the engine has to be rebuild for the cam gear breaking. All the parts are inside those boxes there.
Stan, when would you have enough garage time for this project?
Brian, this car is your '84's brother, but not as nice and pristine as yours.
Here are more pics from the previous owner:
Pretty happy with the H4 lights
Looks like the firewall is still intact
No tears or bubbling
Odometer may be working. 197,380!
Only crack in the interior
Hopefully, only the cam shaft needs replacing and not valves, heads, etc
Pretty sure this is after market fans

Here are pictures of leather matching custom rear speakers. Part of a system that came with a metal plaque stating the "audiophile system" being made for the original owner, with his name on it.

Great looking car. Looks like it really needs to be saved instead of parting out. That interior is beautiful.
Now those rear custom speakers are.....well.....hideous (IMO).
The front bumper shocks look compressed based on the where the light assembly is located. Too far back since you can see the notch in the nose cover below the light assembly. Front impact in its history?

Good catch...if you can see the drain holes that are supposed to be under the lights, they're definitely pushed in. Grab some used bumper shocks from 928 Intl (maybe wait for the half off sale...that's like my favorite holiday now lol). Likely that's the only thing that's wrong, pretty minor repair. My car was the same way when I got it.
