Of course Sid, I ordered replacement nuts, bolts and washers from Pelican. You can see it here. The craftsman spreader is a gem.

+1. I admire the effort but don't see the point.

OCD would mean you don't enjoy doing it.

For the record, I did not polish the exhaust components. I left that silliness to a local polishing outfit.

Well I certainly derive great pleasure from restoring these old cars, so I guess its not OCD. I really thought these old tips were shot, but ten minutes with a wire wheel brush (and protective mask of course, thanks Al), and the tip looks like new. These will be going in the basement with the stock mufflers. Can't wait to install the new wide ovals.

Whatever you want to call it, it's pretty common for me to turn a simple half hour project into an hour and a half project. When installing LED's, the full lights out cleaning is a must. When I installed the HID's the inside of my fenders, and even the places wilthin reach behind my oil gauge, shined when finished. Just trying to be a good steward for this incredible machine.

Default Real OCD.....

Althou I will admit that after owning and restoring many fine sports cars over the years, the Porsche was the first car that NEEDED the backside of the wheel rims cleaned and waxed when it is washed !

If it is truly OCD then the acronym would be CDO (alphabetical order of course).
