Absolutely love it !!!
Sealing wax red was, IIRC, one of the most popular colors then

Here is one of my favorites, from a fellow Atlantan at Amelia Island last year....would love to have this next to the GT3

Congrats again and PM me when ready to sell

That's a sweet double cab. I might decide to do some kind of old school Porsche livery that is removable/reversible. I love all the old VW trucks, but I especially love the earlier models with the rounded fronts, and I like the simplicity in lines of the single cab. As car guys we have all had these moments when we see something and it just connects with us and we must have it. This is a great story I saw this at a car show over a year ago. I told him I was interested in buying it. He laughed at me and showed me where they would put his casket in the bed. I told him - "be that as it may, please take my card anyways". He called over a year later with a mea culpa and said he decided to sell it and had kept my card so called me first. The color and condition were what got me. He is a carpenter and hand made the wood frame in the bed, which uses no bolts attaching to bed, only rubber feet, etc. It was featured in 2016 Hot VW Magazine.

I love it!

Brings back great memories of my little league coaches VW bus he would drive us to away games in. Wow.

As a kid it always amazed me how a steering wheel could turn wheels that were behind it.
