Default Any of you into Fine Porsche Furniture?

My Friend Brian owns a company where he hand makes furniture.

He is an avid porsche owner and recently made a Speedster lounge.

Check it out and PM me if any of you are interested. (Please dont mind the RWBs) we all know how you feel.

I thought that place looked familiar. I dream daily of living in a place that is more a warehouse/garage than a typical house. I had this pic saved....

I guess maybe I'm a little design-challenged because I'm not seeing it. Is there a reason it's called the Speedster chair? Maybe are the wings of the chair supposed to look like the profile of a Speedster top?

If it were called the Kia Optima chair, no one would want it

Ahhh, Speedster fabric. Didn't realize that plaid was a Speedster thing. Learn something new every day around here!

Perhaps try some houndstooth or pasha fabric instead?

Let me guess - the back of the chair is a rear frunk!

Here is where the inspiration and name comes from from Brian. The overall shapes and lines are inspired by shapes from air-cooled Porsche. The stitching and upholstery details are those found in those same cars as well. The backs of the chairs have 356 Speedster Hoodstraps mounted which is where the name comes from. The idea behind the lounge was to create a aesthetically pleasing shape with design elements that pair well with a vintage collection. Materials are carefully chosen for color and texture/pattern to further make the connection.
