i know there are some 996 roll bars that fit 997. Does anyone know if this specific one fits sunroof 997?

MXracer, I removed this last year so my memory is a bit weak on the access. I am 6-1 and my seat position has no issue with the stock seats. I do recall you can bump the back of the seat against the roll bar near max seat limits, but not for normal use. I not sure of clearance for a 997. I think the DAS site may provide info on which models fit which car(s).

Can you kindly take a pic of the part number or the DAS sticker to see which model this is? According to the DAS site, there are 2: "RB2SR" which fits sunroof 996/997 and "RB2NS" which fit Non-sunroof 996/997.

There are two bars, SR and no SR.
Once you get serial number, call Colin @ dassport and he can look it up

My stock seats travel a good ways back, if you are over 6'5", it might be an issue.
BTW, get new bolts before installing
